Become a Friend today by either 1) completing the digital form below, or 2) printing and completing this brochure. Printed membership forms and/or membership dues (cash or checks made out to "Friends of the Baldwinsville Public Library") can be brought or mailed into the library.
Member benefits: All Friends currently get a free book coupon to redeem at a book sale and discounted admission to Friends programming. Good Friends also get a Friends of the Library tote bag!
Volunteer Opportunities Available
Fundraising - Looking for energetic folks with creative minds to plan and participate in fundraising activities that benefit and support the Baldwinsville Public Library.
Programs / Event Planning - Join the Program and Event Planning committee to create interesting events that will appeal to our community and expand public awareness of the library's services, facilities, and needs.
Membership - Attend events and promote Friends of the Baldwinsville Public Library membership.
Public Policy - The BPL regularly advocates for funds to support library programs, services, and facilities. Friends support their efforts by promoting education and awareness of impending legislation using social media, newsletters, letters to the editor, contacting legislators, etc. Public policy advocacy follows legislative sessions.
Advertising - Support planned events to the community by using creative flyers, posters, social media sites, newsletters, newspapers, community calendars, etc.
